SHIRU L'ADONAI - SING UNTO GOD

Do you like to sing?  Is music your preferred path of expression?  Have you been looking for a way to get involved with our Temple?

Here is something you might now know. The B'nai Israel Adult Choir is always looking for new members.

The B'nai Israel Adult Choir sings monthly at Shabbat services, participates in special and holiday services, and at various interfaith and other community events. The Choir members are all members of our congregation who volunteer their time and voices. A few are professional musicians while most are just people who love to sing and participate in services.

The Adult Choir has been in existence about 20 years - 18 of which with its current director, Fran Goldenberg. Our goals are to enhance the service with music and represent our congregation in our community activities.

Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 7 - 8 PM at the Temple.

Ability to read music (or Hebrew) is not required.

What we do require is some singing ability, a joy of singing and a desire to be part of a Temple organization, some great people, and an opportunity to share a part of yourself through music.
