Caring Committee
Many Temple members have signed up
to be a part of B'nai Israel's Caring Committee. This is a true mitzvah for our
community families and members, as well as the community-at-large. Some of the
mitzvot these individuals perform are:
Visiting the sick in hospitals or at their home
Making shiva home visits
Conducting prayer services in the shiva home
Visiting in local nursing and adult homes
Preparing and bringing shiva food
The world continues to exist, say the rabbis of the Talmud, because of three
things. One of these are deeds of loving kindness. Why not help to make the
world a better place and sustain its continued existence? Join the Caring
Committee!! For more information please contact Rabbi Steven Moss.
